The Department of Physics at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) is seeking applicants for tenure-track and tenured faculty positions in the Department of Physics. We invite applications for positions in the area of Astrophysics & Particle Physics, Biophysics, and Atomic, Molecular and Optical (AMO) Physics. Candidates well established in Condensed Matter Physics, Computational Physics, Theoretical Physics, Quantum Science and Engineering are also encouraged to apply. Applicants are expected to manage outstanding research program in their field and be committed to excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Founded in 2011, the Department of Physics is committed to cultivate top-tier education and pioneer groundbreaking research initiatives.

Our research is dedicated to exploring the nature of everything, from the tiniest elementary particles to the vastness of cosmic space, and to tackling some of the most pressing questions facing our world today.
