Dr. Chenwei Lv is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Southern University of Science and Technology. He received B.S. with honors in Physics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2017 and Ph.D. in Physics from Purdue University in 2022. His research focuses on theoretical AMO physics, with an emphasis on using geometric and algebraic methods to explore novel quantum dynamics, topological phases of matter, and to design protocols for quantum control and optimal sensing. His recent research interests include quantum geometry, artificial gauge theories, and the simulation of artificial gauge fields and curved spacetimes in open quantum systems.
