Students of SUSTC do not choose major until they finish their first 2 years learning of fundamental science knowledge. As for grade 2012, 29 students out of 388 choose Physics as their major. To foster mutual acquaintance between teachers and students, Department of Physics held a Teachers & Students Meeting towards the 29 junior students.

       The meeting was hosted by associate professor Ye Fei and lasted about 2 hours. Physics will continue this tradition keep close communication with students.
